When I logged into Facebook today, I saw the page from the author Tikia C. Young "The Shift Community". When I saw it, God was showing me how he has sent people ahead of me for encouragement. God speaks through people, situations, events, trials, tribulations and experiences. We just have to be quiet and isolated to hear him. She has paved the way as an author, teacher, mother and an encouraging visionary. I reached out to her to say thank you because her vision of being relentless in our spirit was a confirmation to me from God. Her book "Relentless: How to Rethink Your Dark Season as a Transformational Moment" is exactly where I am in my transformation, and I appreciate her obedience and faith to God for walking the straight and narrow path so she could create a light to pave the way for others rising out of darkness.
She returned my thank you with encouraging words and the scripture Amos 9:13-15. This scripture gave me chills when I read it. I asked her if I could post it in my daily bread from God and post her book. She was delighted, and she stated that she uses the message translation for the scripture! Therefore, I will use the same translation in God's daily bread. God spoke to me through the vision he gave to her. I love God because he is relevant to what we need today.
Today's Scripture
“Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” God’s Decree.
“Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. I’ll make everything right again for my people Israel:
“They’ll rebuild their ruined cities. They’ll plant vineyards and drink good wine. They’ll work their gardens and eat fresh vegetables. And I’ll plant them, plant them on their own land. They’ll never again be uprooted from the land I’ve given them.” God, your God, says so".
