Your spiritual eyes are a light in darkness. Turn it on! Jesus Christ will open your eyes when they are wide shut. Then you can see who you are and who's who in your life.
Eyes are a lamp to the body
The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy,your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy,your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness! (Matthew 6:22-23 NIV)
Eyes can be opened through obedience or disobedience to God
Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves. (Genesis 3:7 NIV)
Eyes can be opened through Jesus Christ
Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight. (Luke 24:31 NIV)
