Jesus came into the world because he was anointed to preach the gospel to the poor; heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised (Luke 4:18). I pray for the spirit of bondage and oppression to be removed and the chains are broken over God's people's lives. I bind the spirit of oppression and bondage which keeps God's people bound in a system that creates poverty. I have had 2 incidents with the current apartment complex that I currently live. I will not expose them for the first issue that was brought to my attention by my husband. I will talk about the one today that we are experiencing. My husband is trying his best to prepare to get a home because he did not have credit established, he has a hard time with pulling his credit score up to an acceptable score although he has been paying his rent on time for 3 years. He is the hardest working man I know, but when these type of hidden forces are present it keeps us bound and suffering in the system. I have to pray because I see it.
His credit report was reporting that he was paying on time for the past 3 years, but when the new manager arrived at the complex recently his credit report removed his 3 year apartment history from his credit bureau which now keeps his score at 574 (Poor). It was 640 two weeks ago, but as he was trying to get loans to pull it up it dropped his score 63 points along with the hard inquiries that were to help increase his credit score. This power in high places need to be caste down. To qualify for a mortgage as a first time home buyer for him, he needs at least a score of 640. There are some lenders that will work with him, but as they do hard inquiries, it will pulled down his credit score even more. Soft inquiries did not bother his credit score. He has been diligently researching and trying to increase his score, but its like playing rush and roulette. Although I have never played the game, you can loose or win your bet. Its a game based on the creditors that approve his credit or deny his credit. They know we will have no power to move out of the apartment complex into a home without an acceptable credit score. God has the power and with Christ and the Holy Spirit, we can do all things through Christ who strengthen us (Phil. 4:13) against a system that keeps people poor, not having enough, not making enough and stressed to the point of sickness.
When God's people go into a hardship, their credit is the first thing affected. My credit score is poor due to all the financial hardships I have endured since 2015. What I realized is the system can pull you up, but when you go against it in any form it will drop you leaving you naked with no clothes. This is what happened to me. When I was married the first time, I was struggling but I had a home. My credit score was bad. I couldn't even afford to get a card. I even filed for bankruptcy when I got married. The 10 years in the marriage I was able to increase my score my score. This was how I was able to be placed on the mortgage we received on 11/14/2012. When I got divorce, the financial hardship significantly decreased my credit score leaving me stripped of any power to get back on my feet.
My credit score dropped from 730 in 2015 to a 578 today and it will not increase because of all the delinquent accounts by creditors that I am unable to pay. This is a system. It was by design, and it had a purpose. Well, so does the Almighty God. The system doesn't care about your inability to pay and if you do not use credit it is also hard to establish a history so you can get a home and stop renting. Since there is no cap on how the rent is increased each year, this keeps people bond because they do not have other options. I know God is going to intervene and help me us solve this problem because whats my problem are millions of others who are trying as well, but the system has a formula that is used to approve or disapprove you and our politicians are not going to fix that problem. When Jesus has approved you, wait and be still because he will override the score he is going to settle for his people.
