I remember when I was going through some terrible times in my life in 2016 and a friend that attended the Leadership Program with me at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church sent me a link to the song, “The Master’s Calling” by Deborah Joy Winans https://youtu.be/YNBDCAeOiWs. She said she thought about me when she heard the song. At the time I was not watching "Greenleaf". I did not start watching "Greenleaf" until 2017 when I was dating my husband. The song resonated in my spirit and encouraged me through my trials. It had a message for me because I knew I was in a wilderness, and I knew Christ was calling me. The song was a confirmation to me. There were so many things coming against me, but I had to rise in the face of adversity and push forward. I don't have a platform like a celebrity, but I do hear from God. Religion had to fall off me for Christ to rise through me. It helped me even when I walked away from the church after Bishop Eddie L. Long died. I could hear the spirit, but it was hard to breakthrough to see the light through the darkness.
During my dark times, I did not understand the dynamics of what I was experiencing but the Holy Spirit woke me up today from my nap at 11:36am to show me a vision about the show "Greenleaf". I had just finished watching season 4 yesterday and the ending of the last episode was very intriguing to me. It shifted my thinking from the drama to a divine message. Now I am going to watch all 4 seasons over to confirm what the Holy Spirit showed me.
"Greenleaf" Vision.
I do not know why the Holy Spirit has shown me "Greenleaf" in this vision, but I am going to be obedient and share it on my "Be Encouraged" blog. God is in everything and there is a lesson and a message of Christ that is a reverence behind the acting in this drama series. It has so many different twists and plots, but I enjoy watching it in my down time. We go through seasons in our lives that are dedicated to God’s perfect timing. Nothing just happens when we are in the Will of God. Everything is on purpose for his Glory. God manifest the essence of who he is in times and seasons.
My vision showed me that the show is about returning to God through his son Jesus Christ by Faith. You cannot know God unless you know his son and have had an intimate encounter with him. "Greenleaf" represents a green leaf from the Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden. The greenleaf (money) is how Gods people must survive because we can’t serve 2 masters. So this movie is showing me how to serve God, walk with Christ and receive money as a resource and not a master. We will love one and hate the other (Matthew 6:24). We have to choose this day who we will serve (Joshua 24:15) in the Grace we have been given before Grace runs out like the actor did in the church on the last episode. When she saw her son, she changed her entire focus. That is how Christ is when he steps into your life. He changes your entire focus and places you on the path he intended. Hats off to the creator of this beautiful masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10) leading up to the return of Jesus Christ.
From watching 4 seasons, my vision also showed me the mind of the creator. The Charity case, Skanks and drama scenes are for the congregation to take up their Cross and follow Christ. The hidden clues are for the Kingdom walkers. The Faith of Gods people died because of a man's sin, but through one son (Jesus Christ) Grace can return in truth (Season 5). She abandons her son by Noah through her flood of troubles. Like anyone, Grace can get back in right fellowship with the son by Faith. She can’t do it in her OWN flesh. It must be by Faith. The people can Triumph through Calvary, Harmony and Hope with actions of singing, prayer, dancing and listening to people with titles such as Bishop, Pastor, Assistant Pastor (AP), and Board Members but that will keep them further from the truth and they will still continue to air on the side of corruption, backstabbing, fornication, adultery and the likes because they are not serving the true living God and they have no idea who Christ is on earth as he is in heaven. A City on a Hill cannot be hidden by money, land, fame, position or people (Matthew 5:14). It will give light to the entire world.
How many people heard the Master calling them through "Greenleaf"? How many people gave their life to Christ during the broadcast of the movie? I am sure there were many because you can’t possible walk, act and play roles of characters without picking up some of the anointing and angelic activity that were in those churches. If some people saw it as just acting, then you didn’t see what to needed to learn. It has a deeper meaning and a different foundation that the church has yet to challenge. It gained an audience outside of tithing and tradition. It’s not about the singing, dancing, Christianity or Religion. It’s about your relationship with Gods son Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Yeshua, the Messiah, Wonderful Counselor, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords so we can understand and appreciate the life we live today is for the Glory of God. God laid it on my heart to share my vision and it encouraged me in my wilderness today. This is a great show and I look forward to watching it next season.
