The words I heard this morning was to pray for people to recognize, accept and walk their narrow path for the finished works of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6). Today's scripture is Matthew 7:13, " Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many enter through it" (BSB). Jesus also stated, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6).
I thank God that billions will return to him in the near future. Many will turn from darkness and walk their narrow path. I pray that God has mercy on their souls and provide protection and comfort for those who turn and walk the straight and narrow. I thank God for those who will come boldly to the throne of grace with confidence...(Hebrew 4:16). It's time too:
1. Acknowledge God so he can direct your steps (Proverbs 3:6)
2. Repent and turn from sin (Acts 3:19)
3. Get baptized into the faith based church of believers, sound doctrine with the leading of the Holy Spirit for the advancement of the kingdom of heaven (Acts 2:38)
4. Listen to the teachings of Jesus Christ through your relationship, studying, and God fearing pastors; know God and be lead by the Holy Spirit
5. Seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33)
6. Walk through your narrow gate with boldness (Matthew 7:13)
7. Know your gifts given from through the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12)
8. Allow the Holy Spirit to enlighten you through your studying (John 16:13-16)
9. Trust God with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5)
10. Allow the fruit of the Spirit to lead you (Galatians 5:22-23)
