When I woke up this morning, the words I heard were, "Your gift will make room" (Proverbs 18:16, NKJV). As this time of year comes around, people are buying gifts for their family, friends and enjoying the holiday season. We can not afford to purchase gifts for Christmas and we do not have a Christmas tree, but what I do have is God, Christ and the Holy Spirit. This is my joy in this time of season and that I am with my family spending time with them. As I continue to be obedient to what God says, we may be struggling financially and I can't pay major bills, but my spirit is uplifted. I don't see a way out in the physical, but I know God will soon allow me to mount up like wings of an eagle and elevate to where he has called me in this life. I didn't see my way out of an incurable cancer, but God did. In my hard times, I remember how he brought me out of struggles that I did not think I would endure, but I did. I have been taught who God is and what he expects from me. When I leave the wilderness, I will not forget the God that brought me out of bondage. I will serve him and Christ because they made room for me in the Kingdom of Heaven.
